We are excited to announce that Daniel Vining and Luke Wright are the new owners of Bay Marine Works Limited. As the new owners, we wish to introduce ourselves and reassure current clients of our commitment to maintaining the high standard of professional marine services that Bay Marine Works is known for.

We are pleased to confirm that the current roster of skippers handling the 24/7 debris removal callouts will remain unchanged. Additionally, we are grateful to retain Brian and Sharon's expertise on a consultancy basis, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellence in Bay Marine Works services.

Introducing the New Owners

Daniel Vining
Daniel is a seasoned commercial skipper with extensive experience in the marine industry. He holds an Inshore Launchmaster qualification and is an ADAS Level 2 commercial diver. Additionally, he is a Licensed Building Practitioner. Daniel has experience in servicing and installing moorings across various regions in New Zealand, as well as repairing, maintaining, and constructing wharves in the Marlborough Sounds. Prior to purchasing Bay Marine Works, Daniel focused on residential building and commercial diving in Tauranga. He is confident skippering vessels up to 24 meters and 12 nautical miles offshore.

Luke Wright
Luke brings 13 years of expertise in the marine industry, including large-scale project management and implementation. As a qualified ADAS Level 3 commercial diver and dive supervisor, he has successfully overseen a range of complex marine projects. Luke’s skills extend to managing mooring systems, salvage operations, offshore ship inspections/cleaning and marine construction projects. He also holds a commercial skipper’s qualification.
